What do we need to bring to cross the US border?
If the trip you are attending requires you to cross a boarder you will need a passport to do so. If you do not have a passport you cannot get on the bus.
Are we allowed to purchase alcohol at the duty free? How much Alcohol are we permitted to bring back to Canada?
You will be permitted to purchase alcohol at the duty free. We will be making a stop to purchase alcohol for the tailgate party only. Since the trips are less than for 48 hours you are not permitted to bring back any Alcohol.
***If you purchase alcohol in the U.S. it cannot be brought back to Canada. If you have alcohol left at the conclusion of the trip it must be consumed or dumped prior to crossing the Border. No alcohol is to cross back to Canada. If there is any alcohol on board and the CBSA discovers this they will perform a full bus inspection. This could potentially delay our arrival by upwards of two hours.
Is drinking permitted on the bus?
Drinking is permitted. Please remember that you must respect the individuals around you. Individuals that display aggressive or rude behavior will be ejected from the trip.
Can we bring our own drinks?
No one is to bring alcoholic beverages on the bus. Due to past experiences we no longer allow individuals to bring their own alcohol on the bus. We do, however, purposely under sell every trip by four seats to allow us to have two hosts and cooler full of drinks at the front of the bus. The drinks are provided at a reasonable cost. This allows us to control the intake of alcoholic beverages.
Our main goal is to provide each individual with a care free trip that is enjoyable for everyone.
Will there be food on the bus?
There is typically no food avaiable for sale unless otherwise stated, but you are welcome to bring your own! We will also make stops to eat if the trip is more than 5 hrs.
What time do we leave for NFL Tailgate Parties and is breakfast included?
Breakfast is to your discretion prior to departure. There are restaurants and coffee shops located near the hotel. Information is offered at the hotels front desk.
The bus leaves the hotel at 10:00am sharp! Everyone is to be on the bus no later than 9:45am . If you are not on the bus by that time, the bus will not wait. When you arrive at the stadium it will take approximately 15-30 minutes to prepare the food.
We encourage everyone to grab a drink and explore the festivities that are offered around the Stadium.
Where are tickets located and will I be sitting with my friends?
Although tickets are typically located in the 300 sections there is a chance that they are scattered throughout the stadium.
If we are able to sit your entire group together we will but this is not always the possible. Groups of 2-6 will always be together but above that number it is not a guarantee. 8 may be broken in to two 4's and twelves in to two 6's etc.
What is served at the NFL Tailgate Party?
Although we tend to mix things up a bit we generaly provide everyone with hotdogs, hamburgers, and sausages. In the past we have provided pulled pork sandwiches, chilli and other tailgate themed food. For drinks you will have an unlimited supply of Bud* or Bud LT*, as well as various non-alcoholic beverages.
*One regular and one light choice will be provided.
What time should we expect to arrive back in Ottawa from Buffalo?
Depending on traffic and border crossing time you should expect to arrive at The Senate Sports Tavern & Eatery between 11:30pm-12:30am. Due to traffic conditions we can not guarantee when you will arrive home.
What happens if the trip is canceled?
Although it is extremely unlikely, if for any reason a trip is canceled due to our chooing everyone will be 100% reimbursed. We will always give at least 1 weeks notice if this happens.
If a trip is canceled due to a weather condition and the bus is unable to make the trip you will recieve a full refund less the cost of the ticket price. The ticket price will be applied to a future trip with Ultimate Tours.
Keep in mind all tickets are in our possession. The only reason for a cancellation would be if there are less than 20 tickets sold.
What is you policy on refunds?
All sales are final and no refunds will be issued after a trip has been purchased. If you cancel one month (30 day) prior to the event a credit will be issued for the full amount that can be applied towards a future event. If you cannot make a trip that is less than 30 days out you can transfer your trip to someone but a refund or credit cannot be provided
